The top of Olympus still a half-hour or so away, in the mist. Maybe another day. Through the middle of a bent figure "8" made of muddy trail there slants from lower left toward upper right remnants of trail toward "Middle Ridge" to the left, and a switchback to avoid the steep often slippery mud to the right and then back again to the left that some of us worked on in the early 2000's.
