Waterfall
	Meanwhile, back in January, Tom had told me that the valley hike is an interesting one, with just one waterfall to climb. Perhaps this is what he was referring to. Dry as it was, I made no attempt to climb it. My fellow hikers had all turned back and I wasn't inclined to take chances on my own. (In fact I was about to stub my toe, and still didn't have the toenail back for the May hike!)
