This is a combination of three hikes. You can view them one at a time by first clicking on all three names in the box in the upper right corner. Then click on the name of the one you want to see. The red track represents part of the hike of 2013-08-14. Unfortunately my GPS batteries gave out on a Joe Bussen special part of the hike before we had even reached the valley floor, but the track does show where we started down from. The green track is the 2015 version, although the track goes wildly astray at a few points a little before (and/or after?) where some of us stopped for lunch and then turned back. The blue track is almost exactly three years earlier. The blue track shows a way I like to finish this hike, namely taking the steep ditch trail up to the ridge by the power poles and following that ridge down past a irrigation spillway (12th photo) and a road back to the starting point. There is another way up to the shortcut ridge a little farther on that I have marked with a red marker ("short"). You can choose other map types, e.g. topos (the blue track shows up better on USGS topo (CalTopo)), by selecting from the requester above the track name box.
