On 2014 a subset of Solemates, thinking to avoid the probably muddy scheduled climb to Kapūkakī ridge, chose to stay in the valley and explore some side trails. These photos were taken on one of those side trails. I regret that, not knowing we were going to explore, left my GPS home for probably the first time...
